MT wins eighth trophy in last 12 years
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - For the eighth time in 12 years since joining the Sun Belt Conference, Middle Tennessee's athletic department has won the Vic Bubas Cup as the top overall sports program in the league. The award is given each year to the university that comes in first in the Sun Belt's all-sports standings.

NewsChannel 5+ makes late schedule change
MURFREESBORO - The inaugural Raiders Choice Awards, held last Thursday at Tucker Theater, will be rebroadcast Tuesday night on NewsChannel 5+. The re-air will begin at 8 PM and NewsChannel 5+ is channel 250 on Comcast.

Dendy, Dudley take home player of year honors
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Men’s golfer Brett Patterson and women’s basketball star Ebony Rowe were the big winners at the inaugural Raiders Choice Awards on Thursday night at Tucker Theatre. The year-end academy awards style show was televised live by Middle Tennessee Mass Communications students on MT TV 10 and directed by MTSU alumnus Garry Hood who has served as stage manager for nearly every major TV awards show the past 30 years.

Inaugural event set for Thursday night
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Raiders Choice Awards committee has released the nominees for Thursday night’s year-end Academy Awards style show as announced on Tuesday. The inaugural event is set for 6 PM at the Tucker Theatre on campus and is open to the public. A limited number of tickets can be obtained by calling the ticket office.

Both slated to begin at 2 p.m. Saturday
The Blue Raider men's tennis semifinal at the Sun Belt Championships and the baseball game at ULM have both been postponed due to inclement weather. Both events have been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday.
