EUGENE, Ore. – Middle Tennessee All-American high jumper Ann Dudley participated in the U.S. Olympic Trials final of the event Saturday afternoon in Eugene, Ore. The Jacksonville, Fla., native recorded a no height on her three attempts to conclude the competition.

“She had a great year regardless with all the things she had done,” head coach Dean Hayes said. “Starting with the relay and earning All-American and then placing among the top 13 at the Olympic Trials, I am really happy with what she accomplished.

“I’m sure nerves were a part of her performance today and the weather conditions were tough too. There was only about a handful that made the A standard and they are way above the rest of the field. She showed she could do it at that height previously but just wasn’t able to today.”

Dudley will return to the Blue Raider program in 2012-13 for her senior campaign.
