Honors: 2012 – Presented the Terry Whiteside Award for excellence in academics, football, strength training, community service, and campus activities … 2011 – Named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District III Football Team … Earned the most improved strength training award for quarterbacks following spring drills … 2010 – Earned the most improved quarterback award … Presented the Sophomore Academic Award at the team banquet.

2011: Played in 11 games and had 10 starts … Had four winning grades from the coaches … Completed 214 of 365 passes for 2,231 yards and 18 touchdowns … His attempts, completions, yards, and touchdowns all ranked among the top six on MT’s single-season list … Threw for 200 or more yards six times and completed 60 percent or more of his passes four times … Completed 27 of 45 passes for a career-best 330 yards and two touchdowns at Purdue (most passing yards in a season opener in school history) … Threw for 415 yards (third most in school history) and five touchdowns (second most) against Troy with all five TD passes going to different receivers … Completed 26 of 40 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns in win over Memphis, while engineering the game-winning drive that covered 94 yards in seven plays that ended with a 33-yard TD pass with 11 seconds left … Attempted a school record 49 passes against WKU for 276 yards and two TDs … Set a school record for consecutive pass completions at FAU by starting the game 19-for-19 … Finished FAU game 28-for-39 for 218 yards and 3 TDs in three quarters of work … Threw for 239 against UL while rushing for a career-high 66 yards … Did not play against ASU … Completed 10 of 19 passes for 147 yards in relief against FIU.

2010: Played and started three games ... Earned two winning grades from the coaches ... Finished the year completing 50 of 80 passes for 540 yards and three touchdowns ... In his first Blue Raider game, Kilgore completed 10 of 13 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota ... Sat out the Austin Peay game with a foot injury ... Completed 16 of 26 passes for 162 yards against Memphis but had three interceptions ... Completed a career-high 21 passes in 36 attempts for a personal-best 207 yards and a touchdown in win over Louisiana ... Did not play following the Louisiana game due to a toe injury.

Bakersfield College: Rated a 3-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com ... Threw for 2,512 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2009 to lead Bakersfield to a 10-2 record and earn National Northern Conference Offensive MVP honors ... Was just the third quarterback in Bakersfield history to surpass 2,000 yards in a single-season ... Enrolled at Bakersfield in spring of 2009 as a grayshirt freshman.
