Men's golf earns All-Academic Team recognition
Program honored by the GCAA
August 2, 2012 · @MTAthleticsNORMAN, Okla. - Middle Tennessee men's golf has earned All-Academic Team recognition as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. A total of 124 teams nationally had GPAs of 3.00 or higher to earn All-Academic Team recognition.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the GPAs
for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
Academics is a priority with the Blue Raider golf program. Under the leadership of head coach Whit Turnbow, Middle Tennessee has recorded a perfect APR score of 1000 in each of the last five years. The program has also advanced to the NCAA Regionals in all five seasons.
