Raiders tie for 4th at Pinetree Invitational

KENNESAW, GA - The Middle Tennessee men's golf team wrapped up its fall season by tying for fourth at the Pinetree Invitational. The Blue Raiders shot a 54-hole score of 908 on the par 72, 7,108-yard Pinetree Country Club course.

Host Kennesaw won the event with a 4-under par 860 followed by Ball State with an 884. Louisiana Tech came in third, followed by MT and South Alabama.

Lucas Armstrong carded a 229 total to tie for 23rd to pace the Blue Raiders, while Payne Denman tied for 27th after posting a 230. Denman had the best final round for the Blue Raiders with a 75.

Jordan Jennings also tied for 27th with a 230 and Andrew Cho tied for 39th. Cho turned in a 232.

Freshman Drake Duncan tied for 46th.

The Blue Raiders will be off until the spring season begins on Feb. 18-19 at the Jaguar Invitational in Mobile, AL.
