Jason Capel

Jason Capel was hired by Nelligan Sports Marketing in May 2012 to be the General Manager of the Middle Tennessee Property. Capel takes over for Dave Elliott.

Capel has worked in college athletics for over 12 years with stops at Mercer and Winthrop on the university side and Appalachian State and South Florida on the multi-media rights side.

He was most recently the general manager of the USF IMG Sports Network leading that property to $1 million growth in less than three years.

A native of Durham, NC, Capel graduated from Appalachian State (Marketing) and earned his master's from Mercer (Business Administration).

Capel and his wife Jane have a son Davis (3).
