Honors: 2012 – Earned the Dr. Sidney McPhee Senior Academic Award … Named Most Improved Strength Training Quarterback at the conclusion of spring drills … 2011 – Earned the most improved quarterback award following spring drills.

2012: Suffered a knee injury the last week of spring drills and will be limited when August camp begins.

2011: Played in nine games and had two starts … Connected on 84 of 140 passes for 794 yards and three touchdowns … Also rushed 35 times for 106 yards … Completed 5 of 6 passes for 54 yards and a touchdown against GT … In his only play against Memphis he completed a 3-yard pass to Tyler Mason … Completed all three of his passes for 74 yards in one quarter of work at FAU … He also rushed for 24 yards in the win over the Owls … Completed 14 of 21 passes for 108 yards and an interception at Tennessee … Came on in relief against ULM and completed 11 of 22 passes for 143 yards … Earned his second career start against ASU and completed a career-best 28 passes in 48 attempts for 219 yards and a touchdown … Also rushed for 46 yards against the Red Wolves.

2010: Played in three games and had one start ... In the three games, he played 145 total snaps including 97 in win over APSU ... Earned one winning grade from the coaches ... Completed 31 of 53 passes for 395 yards for the year with only one interception ... Made his first collegiate start against APSU and responded with 301 yards passing on 23 of 36 throwing, while also adding 59 rushing yards and a score ... Came in late against Memphis and completed 6 of 13 passes for 87 yards ... Had 12 snaps against Troy and completed 2 of 4 passes.

Laney Junior College: Earned all-conference and all-region honors at Laney JC ... In 2009, he completed 144 of 251 passes for 1,749 yards and 16 touchdowns ... Completed 107 of 204 passes for 1,845 yards as a freshman.
