Lewis Brothers Bakery, bakers of Bunny, Sunbeam, and Healthy Life breads, recently extended their marketing partnership with Nelligan Sports Marketing and Blue Raider Athletics. The new agreement keeps Lewis Brothers Bakery as one of the longest-tenured corporate partners with Middle Tennessee and will see their products co-branded with the Blue Raiders through 2017.

ENTERPRISE, Ala. -- Middle Tennessee head women's tennis coach Shelley Godwin was recently featured in her hometown newspaper, The Southeast Sun, in a story by Casey Strickland.

MOBILE, Ala. – In a tight competition, Middle Tennessee won the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate by one stroke over Memphis on Feb. 21 at the par-72 Magnolia Grove Crossing Golf Course. With rounds of 288-282-288 for a 6-under 858 total, the Blue Raiders not only defended their title at the tournament but also set a 54-hole tournament scoring record, beating the previous best of 863 (set by Middle Tennessee in 2011). The victory was the second of the season for MTSU, which also won the Mason Rudolph Championship in the fall.

LAGOS DE MORENO, Mexico - Former Blue Raider third baseman Brett Carroll and Team USA earned the silver medal at the Pan Am games after falling to Canada, 2-1, in the championship. Carroll led Team USA in hitting during the Pan Ams with a .556 average and drove in the lone run for the squad in Monday’s finale.
