Six of eight Blue Raider competitors finish in top 10

(Athletic Communications)LEXINGTON, Ky. - Middle Tennessee kicked off Day 1 of the Rod McCravy Memorial on Friday with six top 10 finishes. The competition, hosted by the University of Kentucky, is the second competition MT has competed in at Nutter Fieldhouse this season.
In the women's high jump, Ann Dudley and Southern Illinois' Kenya Culmer reached 1.80 meters on their final successful jumps, but each failed to hit 1.83m in the next round. Dudley then withdrew from the jump off, allowing Culmer to claim the title.
MT had three of their five invitational long jump competitors finish in the top 10. Rosina Amenebede was sixth in the women's invitational, reaching 5.83 meters (5-10.75 ft). On the men's side, Kameron Rory (7.14m) and Cordairo Golden (7.13m) were fifth and sixth.
India Hammond (5.34m) was fourth in the regular women's long jump while Amber Dandy was seventh. Dandy had a jump of 17 feet, four inches.
