Former Blue Raider Matthew Langley earns first ITF point
Defeated Australian Puodziunas in round one of Australia F5 Futures
March 25, 2013 · @MTAthleticsFormer men's tennis athlete Matthew Langley has earned his first Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) point after a 6-1, 6-2 first round victory against Scott Puodziunas at the Australia F5 Futures in Bundaberg.
Langley, a 2012 graduate from Middle Tennessee, earned a spot in the main draw after defeating Harley Pearson and Brandon Walkin in the qualifying rounds.
Langley will now face fifth-ranked Michael Look in the second round of the tournament.
