Former Blue Raider Matthew Langley earns first ITF point

Defeated Australian Puodziunas in round one of Australia F5 Futures

Former men's tennis athlete Matthew Langley has earned his first Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) point after a 6-1, 6-2 first round victory against Scott Puodziunas at the Australia F5 Futures in Bundaberg.

Langley, a 2012 graduate from Middle Tennessee, earned a spot in the main draw after defeating Harley Pearson and Brandon Walkin in the qualifying rounds.

Langley will now face fifth-ranked Michael Look in the second round of the tournament.
