Middle Tennessee Soccer hosts its annual Alumni Game on Saturday, April 20. The match is set for a 2 p.m. kickoff inside the Dean A. Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium.
The annual match features the current Blue Raider squad taking on the legends of the past. The match should last just over an hour.
"It's going to be great to have the former players back on campus," head coach Aston Rhoden noted. "They certainly paved the way for where we are today and continue to be fantastic representatives of our program and university. It is an honor to have them back in a Blue Raider jersey."
Following the contest, the 2012 Blue Raider soccer team will be honored for its 2012 regular season Sun Belt Championship. MT completed a remarkable 14-5-1 overall mark and held an 8-1-1 record in league play. It marks only the second time MT has won a regular season title with the other happening in 2004. During the ceremony, the members of the 2012 team will receive their championship rings.
Admission to Saturday's match is free and open to the public.
