Tories suffer after Budget
Labour's lead has risen by 5 points to 21 over the Conservatives, according to an ICM poll - the first since the Budget - for today's Guardian.
The poll, which shows Labour at 47 per cent, the Tories at 26, and the Liberal Democrats at 23, suggests that the Budget has been much less popular in the country than among Conservative backbenchers. The Tory figure is the lowest for 12 years.
