Off-the-shelf offer
A 12-YEAR-OLD boy from Lymington wrote to shops in the New Forest offering, for a small fee, to try to steal goods from their shelves to 'test security'. A police spokesman said the offer had been made in all innocence, but the boy had been advised to find a alternative source of pocket-money.
