Brooklyn-based psychedelic surf pop band Real Estate is one of the most blogged music acts of the moment according to The Hype Machine on July 19. The band is set to drop its sophomore album, Days, in October, and has just released two singles from the LP. Also in the day's top ten is English electro-pop artist Gross Magic, aka Sam McGarrigle.

Real Estate will release a seven-inch vinyl of the track "It's Real" in late September, with the track "Blue Lebaron" on the b-side, but meanwhile bloggers are swapping MP3s of both tracks. The songs will feature on Days, the band's follow-up to their 2009 self-titled "exceptionally well-received" ( Troys Noise) eponymous debut. "Jangling guitar, dreamboat vocals, and a high-reaching chorus all point to another successful run for the trio," writes blogger Citizen Dick.

Hailing from Brighton, low-fi act Gross Magic is set to release a new EP dubbed Teen Jamz on August 8. In recent days bloggers have been circulating three tunes from the EP: an electro-driven track called "Waiting for You," "a stomping piece of psychedelic pop" ( Bowlegs Music) titled "We're Awake Tonight," and a "Graham Coxon-ish love song" ( Abeano) dubbed "Sweetest Touch."
