Gareth Bale could return for Tottenham Hotspur against Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday after recovering from an illness.

The Wales international missed the last two games due to the issue, but his presence may not necessarily be needed.

Tottenham talisman Harry Kane has scored more goals in the league against Leicester than any other club, with 10 in his last five starts against the Foxes.

Brendan Rodgers needs his side to return to form after a sluggish home defeat last time out – a 2-0 home loss to Everton.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the top-flight meeting.

When is it?

The game will kick off at 2:15pm GMT at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

How can I watch it?

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event with coverage from 2pm GMT.

What is the team news?

Jose Mourinho should have Gareth Bale available for selection, with the Welsh star recovering from illness and returning to training. Both Erik Lamela (Achilles) and Japhet Tanganga (shoulder) remain out.

Jonny Evans has completed his suspension and should return, while Timothy Castagne is fit after recovering from his hamstring problem. Daniel Amartey could return from a similar issue, but this match comes too soon for Pereira (groin) and Soyuncu (hip).

Predicted line-ups

Tottenham: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon, Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Son, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Kane

Leicester: Schmeichel, Fofana, Evans, Fuchs, Albrighton, Justin, Tielemans, Ndidi, Maddison, Barnes, Vardy

Odds

Tottenham to win: 11/10

Draw: 12/5

Leicester to win: 13/5

Prediction

Both clubs have enjoyed exciting starts to the new season, and they will each want to bounce back from disappointing midweek results with a win. This could be a fast paced game with both teams utilising the counter, but Jose Mourinho will mastermind a win. Tottenham 2-1 Leicester.
