Most times you read about going to watch football it involves the high ticket prices of Premier League teams.

But further down the divisions, things are very different.

Suffolk non-league side Bungay Town are offering a free punnet of mushrooms to those who come to their home match against Maratham this weekend.

The initiative is part of Non-League Day as clubs look to boost attendances for clubs outside the Football League.

It's not the first offer from the Anglian Combination Division Two side. This time last year fans who attended were given 5p.

"We have a supplier of mushrooms so we thought 'why not? The former chairman is a mushroom grower'," vice-chairman Shaun Cole told BBC Sport.

"Last year we had a 60-70 per cent attendance increase on the day and I would be delighted if we can get that again."

With a punnet of mushrooms in the supermarket costing around £1, it'll be little surprise if they do.
