A new album curated and produced by Beyonce – inspired by Disney’s live-action remake of The Lion King – has been released on streaming services.

The Gift features collaborations with a number of stars including Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Tierra Whack, Pharrell and 070 Shake.

Beyonce has called the record a “love letter to Africa”, with a number of African artists and producers featured as well.

Listen to the album in full, below:

Production credits include DJ Khaled on “MOOD 4 EVA”, Syd as a co-producer on “OTHERSIDE”, and Diplo co-producing on “ALREADY”.

Beyonce and Kendrick’s collaboration “NILE” includes production from the DAMN. rapper’s frequent creative partner Sounwave, while Jay-Z gets a co-writer credit on “BROWN SKIN GIRL”, which features Blue Ivy.

James Earl Jones, who voices Mufasa in both the animated original and the remake, opens the album and has several prominent guest spots throughout.

Beyonce, who voices the adult lioness Nala in the remake, released the album’s lead single “Spirit” earlier this week ahead of the album and film’s release.
