World heavyweight champions Vladimir and Vitaly Klitschko have accepted a challenge to fight Poland's Tomasz Adamek and will decide in the coming months who will take him on.

The Ukrainian brothers said the fight would be held in September in one of Poland's stadiums to be used for the Euro 2012 soccer tournament the country co-hosts with Ukraine.

A specific date and location would be determined soon, they said.

"Adamek is a very experienced, quick and uncomfortable opponent," said WBC champion Vitaly Klitschko. "It does not matter who will fight him but what is important is not to underestimate him."

The 34-year-old Adamek, a former light heavyweight and cruiserweight world champion, has won all five of his heavyweight fights and his overall record stands at 43 wins from 44 fights.

Vladimir, who holds the IBF, IBO and WBO belts, is taking on Briton Dereck Chisora on April 30 while his older brother defends his title against former Olympic champion Odlanier Solis from Cuba on March 19. Adamek is also going to pencil in a fight prior to the September date.

The Klitschkos said if they both lost their fights in March and April or Adamek was defeated in his then the bout was off.

The news is a blow to Britain's WBA heavyweight champion David Haye who has made no secret of his desire to unify the division by fighting the Klitschkos.
