Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admitted that his club’s injury crisis appeared to be over after James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri returned to the squad ahead of the clash with West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

The duo, who suffered injuries in November, are in contention to play against the Baggies while Thiago Alcantara returned to training this week.

Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce has urged his team to develop a “siege mentality” ahead of their trip to Anfield.

West Brom sit in 19th place with just one victory – against Sheffield United – and will hope for a holiday miracle at the home of the league leaders.

Here’s everything you need to know about the match at Anfield.

When is it?

The fixture will kick-off at 4:30pm GMT at Anfield.

How can I watch it?

The match will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League.

What is the team news?

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino will both be hopeful of starting after impressing against Crystal Palace. James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri are also in contention to play after recovering from injury, but this match comes too early for Thiago.

Matheus Pereira is back from suspension, but Jake Livermore is out for the next three games after a red card against Aston Villa. Conor Townsend, Hal Robson-Kanu and Kyle Bartley are all set to return from injury soon, but it will likely not be at Anfield.

Predicted line-ups

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Keita, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane

West Brom: Johnstone, Furlong, Ajayi, O’Shea, Gibbs, Sawyers, Phillips, Pereira, Gallagher, Diangana, Grant

Odds

Liverpool: 1/7

Draw: 8/1

West Brom: 18/1

Prediction

This appears to be a formality, really. Liverpool are flying and quite frankly, look a tier above the rest of the Premier League. West Brom will play defensive football and try and stun the Reds like they did Manchester City recently, but it won’t happen. Liverpool 4-0 West Brom.
