Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of Belgium’s final two World Cup qualifiers due to a groin injury. Coach Marc Wilmots said the Manchester City defender would miss Friday’s fixture in Croatia and the visit of Wales four days later.

Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke will also not be fit to play Croatia, but might face Wales.
