The Hollywood Vampires: Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry to launch UK tour
Actor and musician will play venues including the SSE Wembley Arena in London
Johnny Depp is setting out on a tour of the UK with his supergroup The Hollywood Vampires, taking in dates in London, Manchester and Glasgow.
The rock band is fronted by Alice Cooper and features Depp and Aerosmith's Joe Perry on guitar.
They will make their live UK debut in June and have support from bands The Darkness and The Damned, with predictions for several surprise appearances from Depp's other rock star friends.
He said of the upcoming tour: "There will be rumbling in ears and there might be blood trickling out of one ear." Perry added: "I don't say things like this often, but this band is [bleeping] good."
The Hollywood Vampires were formed in the 70s on LA's Sunset Strip and has seen a number of high profile stars on its rotating lineup. Cooper, who founded the band, explained: "To join the club, one simply had to out-drink all of the members."
The band play the following dates:
16 June - Birmingham Genting Arena
17 June - Manchester Arena
19 June - Glasgow The SSE Hydro
20 June - London SSE Arena, Wembley
Tickets are available from 9am on Friday 9 February.
