Sentence 'lenient'
A JUDGE was too lenient when he sentenced a man to probation and ordered him to pay pounds 50 compensation to the six-year- old girl he indecently assaulted, the Attorney General said. Sir Nicholas Lyell QC has applied to the Court of Appeal for leave to have the sentence against Terence Hadenham, 43, of Gosport, Hampshire, reconsidered.
