A driver tested positive for “every possible kind of drug” after he was pulled over for tests, Spanish police have said.
Officers found high levels of cannabis, amphetamines, cocaine and opiates in the driver’s system after stopping him near the northern town of Carcastillo on Saturday morning.
He was also over the drink-drive limit, local media reported.
Navarre regional police tracked the man after a neighbour saw several people clambering into his car while drunk following a party.
Officers found six people in the car, all aged 25 or 26, with one lying on top of the others.
The driver was found to be positive for every substance for which he was tested, although police told Euronews he was not necessarily under the influence of each drug as some can remain detectable in the system for several days.
He was fined €2,000 (£1,780) and had 12 points deducted from licence, while six friends in the car were fined €200 for not wearing seatbelts.

Last year Spain’s traffic authorities stepped up drink and drug tests on drivers following an increase in cyclist deaths on the roads.
Police are aiming to carry out an additional 130,000 tests a year, particularly on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
