A police superintendent is among three people charged following an investigation into indecent images of a child.
Novlett Robyn Williams, 54, was charged with one count of possession of an indecent image of a child of category A severity – the most serious level of child abuse images.
The frontline Metropolitan Police officer also faces one count of corrupt or improper exercise of police powers and privileges by a constable in failing to report the distribution of the image.
Williams was placed on restricted duties once the investigation began on 4 February 2018 and remains so following a review.
She will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 12 March along with Jennifer Hodge, 55, and Dido Massivi, 61, both of Deacon Road, Willesden , northwest London.
