Victory closer in 'IoS' campaign
The Government's mental health tsar has said ministers are likely to rewrite controversial new reforms governing the treatment of the mentally ill.
This follows unprecedented opposition to several proposals including the indefinite detention of the mentally ill, even if they have not committed a crime. Professor Louis Appleby said the views of patients and mental health workers "have to be listened to".
