Three adds up to a better mobile-phone deal abroad

Worried about the cost of using your phone abroad? You should be. According to a survey by Thompson and First Choice, Britons paid out £112m in roaming charges in 2013. There are solutions, such as buying a local phone or SIM at your destination. Or check with your mobile service provider for its own offers. Mobile-phone firm Three, for instance, has recently extended its Feel At Home offering to the US, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Macau, so customers can now stay on their UK price plan in those countries. Feel at Home is currently available in 11 destinations abroad.
