Chelsea vs Everton live stream: How to watch Premier League fixture online and on TV tonight
Everything you need to know ahead of the evening meeting of two clubs chasing Champions League football
Chelsea host Everton on Monday night in another Premier League clash which could determine the top-four finishers this season.
Both clubs have recently beaten Liverpool at Anfield to boost their respective European ambitions, with Thomas Tuchel unbeaten in his 10 games across all competitions since taking charge at Stamford Bridge.
The most recent of those did come against last season’s champions, with a midweek 1-0 win leaving the Blues fourth in the table, one point ahead of Everton - who have played one game fewer.
It’s the Toffees, though, who have the better recent league form, with three successive wins keeping them well in the mix to take advantage if any of those above them slip-up. Last time out, Everton beat West Brom 1-0 and they have been exceptional on the road this term, winning nine and losing just two of their 13 away games.
Here’s everthing you need to know ahead of the match.
When is the game?
The match kicks off at 6pm on Monday, 8 March at Stamford Bridge.
Where can I watch it?
The game will be screened live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate.
What is the team news?
Chelsea still have a doubt over Thiago Silva, while Tammy Abraham is unlikely to return to the squad. Otherwise, there are a full raft of options for Thomas Tuchel to choose from.
Everton are missing Yerry Mina, Fabian Delph and long-term absentee Jean-Philippe Gbamin. Jamez Rodriguez, Tom Davies and Seamus Coleman are doubts, but Allan is likely to be back in the starting XI.
Predicted line-ups
CHE - Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; Hudson-Odoi, Kante, Kovacic, Alonso; Mount, Pulisic; Werner
EVE - Pickford; Holgate, Godfrey, Keane, Digne; Doucoure, Allan, Gomes; Sigurdsson; Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin
Odds
Chelsea - 3/5
Draw - 16/5
Everton - 6/1
Prediction
Carlo Ancelotti’s side won’t make it easy for the Blues but Chelsea look confident and have a good game plan right now which will see them dominate the 90 minutes. They still need to develop a more clinical edge, but should just edge the match here. Chelsea 2-1 Everton.
