Road Traffic
R v Jordan; CA (Cr Div) (Roch LJ, Garland, Ebsworth JJ); 8 Nov 1994.
The guidelines on sentencing for driving offences involving fatalities where alcohol had been consumed were not helpful when considering a case where unlawful drugs had been used, where clear evidence could demonstrate that the drug, in this case amphetamines, was likely to have and did have an adverse effect on the manner in which the defendant drove.
