Meanwhile customers have until Wednesday to pick up two Asian takeaway meals, two side dishes and a bottle of wine for £10 – a saving of up to £8.25.

Wrap up a winter coat at Tesco sale

There's one day remaining to take advantage of Tesco's huge winter clothing sale. All winter coats and knitwear has been reduced by up to 60 per cent to £20 and £5 to £10 respectively. The offer is also running online.

Sniff out a bargain 'celebrity' scent

Fragrance Direct is offering up to 80 per cent off selected "celebrity" scents online. A 30ml bottle of Beckham Instinct Ice is now £6.99, down from £18.50; 50ml bottles of Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely are down from £32 to £17.99; and 50ml bottles of J.Lo Deseo For Men are down from £31 to £9.99.

A good eye for a contact lens deal
