Rallying: Auriol extends lead
Tuesday 22 September 1992
DIDIER AURIOL, of France, extended his lead in the Australian Rally after yesterday's third day of competition. The Finnish driver, Juha Kankkunen, is in second place overall despite mechanical problems yesterday, with Carlos Sainz, of Spain, third. The final four stages of the 35-stage race will be held today.
