Wanted: new boss for Bank of England

 

The Bank of England is advertising for a successor to Governor Sir Mervyn King – by placing an ad in a jobcentre in the City.

The 284-word job spec demands that the candidate must be of "undisputed integrity and standing" but interested applicants must hurry – the closing date is 8 October.
