Cristiano Ronaldo storms out of interview after being asked about possible sale of Manchester United target Sergio Ramos

Ronaldo admitted he 'doesn't know' if Ramos will stay

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo stormed out of an interview after being asked about the future of team-mate Sergio Ramos.

The defender is involved in a battle with Real Madrid over a new contract, with Manchester United extremely interested in his services. Ramos does not feel he is paid enough in the Spanish capital prompting Louis van Gaal to make an opening bid of £35million last week, that was rejected.

United have already offered to double Ramos' pay if he is to arrive at Old Trafford. Ramos has said he is 'not negotiating with anyone' at the moment.

During an interview with SNTV at the weekend, Ronaldo was asked about the situation.

"I don't know," he said, then reiterating the statement. He immediately took off his headphones and it looked as if the interview was over but Ronaldo was convinced to answer "one more" question, about Steven Gerrard's move to the LA Galaxy.

After answering that question he was then again asked for "one more", a question his own contract situation.

Ronaldo then appears furious, gesturing and speaking to one of his representatives in Portuguese.

"I am not insisting on anything, he is making me leave," said Ronaldo, according to a translation from Goal.

"Do you want me to be unfriendly with this guy? You two are the ones who need to do this, man. This is making me look stupid in front of people."

Ronaldo then shook the hand of the interviewer and said: "my friend, thank you very much" before leaving the set.

The Ballon d'Or winner is reportedly close with Ramos and would be unhappy to see him leave the Bernabeu.
