Al Roker returns to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2020

Today show co-host Al Roker returned to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade following his recent surgery for prostate cancer

All over social media, viewers chimed in to wish him well.

"Love the fedora Al. You look very Spaderish! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family", tweeted one viewer.

Wearing a camel-coloured coat and his trademark blue glasses, Roker commented on how unseasonably warm the weather in New York felt and playfully pushed the "Butter Man" aside. "Oh, he's back. Spread out, ya butter! Get out of here!"

Earlier this week, Roker formally returned to the Today show after undergoing a five-hour procedure on 9 November for prostate cancer. He has since shared that he is in good health.

On Monday (23 November), Roker shouted out his “great surgeons” as well as the family members and coworkers who have supported him.
