Ed Sheeran has shared that his wife was diagnosed with a tumour during her second pregnancy.
The Shape of You singer said he “spiralled through fear, depression and anxiety” in 2022 after the discovery, in addition to the death of his close friend and collaborator Jamal Edwards.
Sheeran married Cherry Seaborn in 2019. The couple share two children.
Seaborn was told she had “no route to treatment until after the birth,” Sheeran said as he spoke about the difficult events which inspired his new album – (Subtract), which is due to be released on 5 May.
