Lazy Limone

For the price of £399pp, Inghams has a week in Limone, a commune on the western shore of Lake Garda that's known for its lemon production. The package includes half-board accommodation at the Hotel Europa, transfers and Thomson Airways flights from Gatwick to Verona on 15 May (inghams.co.uk).

India off-season

Western & Oriental has launched a summer sale to India for travel dates from 1 May through to 30 September. The deals, all of which must be booked by 30 June, include: a nine-day tour of "Royal Rajasthan" for £1,915 staying in opulent Taj Palace hotels, with flights, private car transfers and sightseeing in New Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur and Mumbai. Or aim south to Kerala, where an eight-day itinerary is £1,159pp, with four-star hotels, flights and private transfers (westernoriental.com).
