Dog squad sued
An animal-lover whose dog was beaten to death in front of his eyes by a canine control squad has sued city officials in China's first lawsuit against strict anti-pet laws, Reuter reports from Peking.
Feng Quantang filed the suit after his German shepherd, Ford, was killed by agents who burst into his house.
