A former Prime Minister and his deputy will be charged with murder over the crackdown on so-called red-shirt protesters in Bangkok in 2010, which left 90 people dead.

The Department of Special Investigations concluded that  Abhisit Vejjajiva and Suthep Thaugsuban may bear responsibility for the death of a taxi driver because they authorised troops to use live ammunition against demonstrators.
