Former Thai PM on murder charge
A former Prime Minister and his deputy will be charged with murder over the crackdown on so-called red-shirt protesters in Bangkok in 2010, which left 90 people dead.
The Department of Special Investigations concluded that Abhisit Vejjajiva and Suthep Thaugsuban may bear responsibility for the death of a taxi driver because they authorised troops to use live ammunition against demonstrators.
