Following its release of special edition cars for the Chinese market, British luxury marque Bentley has unveiled two new models that will be sold exclusively in the Middle East.

The new Continental Flying Spur Arabia and Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia will be sold exclusively in Bentley's nine dealers in the region, which Bentley said have doubled their contribution to the worldwide percentage of sales in the last five years.

Bentley's Geoff Dowding said, "We have created these exclusive new models for our Arabic customers in recognition of the growing importance of these influential customers."

The Middle East now accounts for ten percent of Bentley retail sales globally.

Like the Chinese models, the Arabia series will feature some exterior and interior changes, such as special motifs and unique wheels.

The vehicles' W12, 6-liter engine remains unchanged, with the top-end Flying Spur Speed model capable of 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 322 km/h.

At last year's Dubai Motor Show in December, auto manufacturers vied for the affections of Middle Eastern car buyers, releasing several special edition models specifically for the market.

Mercedes-Benz launched its G55 AMG Kompressor "Edition 79," while Rolls-Royce showed off its limited edition Phamtom Bespoke Collection, complete with handmade silk rug upholstery and mother-of-pearl inlays in the interior.
