One man has been arrested after police discovered the bodies of three people being stored in coffins at a home in Manchester .
Officers were called out at 8.45pm on Friday 24 January after concerns were raised over the way a business was being run on a residential street in Blackley.
However after searching the home overnight and into the morning, Greater Manchester Police uncovered three bodies in coffins - all of which have since been identified with family members informed.
A 52-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of fraud, and has been released on bail.
Detective Inspector Claire Moss, of GMP’s north Manchester division, said: “It is important that while this investigation continues to take place that we avoid speculating over information that is not yet known.
