Alex Reid drops Katie Price baby hint
Alex Reid dropped a hint today that his baby plans with wife Katie Price could have come to fruition.
The actor and professional fighter was asked whether he had "Reidinated" the reality star, who has discussed the couple's hopes for a child during interviews.
Speaking on This Morning, the star drew his fingers across his lips as if doing up a zip.
He replied mysteriously: "Maybe - maybe not."
Price appeared on the show last month and said she intended to keep her life more private - before revealing she was having her period.
She said previously: "We are trying for a baby... I'm on my period now, not that you all want to know that."
At one point during the interview Price, who was previously wed to Peter Andre, accidentally referred to herself and "Pete" before quickly correcting herself to say "Alex".
But Reid, who sat on the interview couch while the footage was played back to him, dismissed his wife's blunder on the ITV1 show.
He said: "It doesn't bother me at all... You were just speaking about Pete and it's a slip of the tongue. Everybody's done that."
Speaking about the need to be liked, Reid said: "My weakness is I want to be liked. I'm needy...
"The more I work on it, the less I need to be liked... I know the people around me love me and that's important. That's the most important thing."
He said of Price: "She needs me to be needy with her... We're so into each other."
Reid complained the couple were criticised for wanting privacy.
He said: "There's still a lot of privacy - I'm not talking about the sex life, all that interesting stuff - I'm talking about mundane things."
Asked by host Phillip Schofield if he meant he was happy for his sex life to be public but wanted to keep mundane parts of his life to himself, Reid laughed: "Exactly."
