The US release date of Repo Men was pushed forward a couple weeks to March 19 from April 2, because of an opening in the schedule when Clash of the Titans was moved a week for more 3D theaters.

The story is based on the book The Repossession Mambo by Eric Garcia who also wrote the script with Garrett Lerner, a writer for the award-winning television show House

It is not a sequel to the wacky 1984 film low-budget cult favorite, Repo Man, about a man repossessing vehicles.

A new "director's cut" red-band trailer for adult audiences was released this week (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hlcYoq08K0).
